>>2020064> > tiers couldn't handelt the mudguards keept scraping on the tiers especially on longer rides.> take the guard off... ? that doesn't sound like an inherent problem but just you being lazy and dumb. You do realise the fag is larping, right? First of: There is no credible effect behind the tire starting to rub on the fenders after a certain period of riding. [Unless our protagonist a) produces several kw of power at their treshold power level which means winning TdF is a walk in the park for them also genetic freak or b) the protagonists 'longer' rides span several months and enough time for their tires to leak considerably.]
Also a mudguard shouldn't start rubbing anywhere as you increase load. Assume for the sake of the argument that the tire either retained its shape when loaded or had enough clearance to transition all states between unloaded and fully loaded. Also assume the mudguard was fixed to eyelets at or close to the rear axle. (Both are perfectly valid assumptions.) Then it would follow that no matter how bad you flex the frame (add several thoudand of N acting on the rear rack if you wish) the fenders would deflect WITH the frame and maintain the tire clearance.
OP is just looking for confirmation to buy the product that was shilled to OP. Because OP is or wishes to be agreable. Ironically, if OP follows that path, OP will soom find themselves in a situation where theyre left in the dust by the average guy commuting to work on a bog standard ride carrying several times the load OP carries at that moment and double of what OP ever imagined to carry.
