I really don't get leftists who say they want walkable cities, accountable governments, UBI, all that jazz, and then go and advocate for policies that will make all those goals substantially harder.
Is it really just because tribalism make you feel icky? Is your dream of a multi-racial society working together despite tribalism really worth more than all of your other ideas?
