The head tube junction was always like that and aero since it's a zunow z-1 proform frame.
However the crash was bad enough the front brake swung around and dented it so that too was repaired via brazing, and both sections were sprayed over to stop rusting.
Mostly posted it since it too was a victim of single speed/fixieing which I guessed due to the weird bars+grips, and single chainring.
