The closest I can think of are the rubber wheeled trams from france but they share road with regular transit which kills the purpose; or the mexico city trolleybus lines but those are single units and don't go on rails so it has poor capacity and needs steering.

come on, it's glorified cattle transport. the seats suck ass, almost on par with economy seats in planes. AC is barely existent, and forget about any sort of catering.

Yeah, I saw those recently but the fact they still have steel wheels inside and also 2RAILS kills the purpose and makes it too expensive. The Sapporo metro and yurikamome line are closer to what I initially wanted (no steel rail) but then I saw they need like 16 special wheels for each car so thats also way too expensive.

Concrete siderails is what i think does the trick but they just need to be a little taller to prevent cars from invading the line. also for the bus to work completely on electricity.
This bus seems like it only uses 6 wheels so that seems more efficient

No, it gets you from, road A to road B. The same way a train needs rails a car needs roads. Only all terrain vehicles can drive on rough terrains, climb road less forests, hills, swamps, etc.
