Discs are cool, but they can warp in rain under heavy braking, they are too complex for most regular riders.
Pack a pair of rim brake pads in your wherever and you can go anywhere no matter the hill sizes and you will be good.
One key and you change it in less than 60 seconds. Can you do that with discs? no.
A lot of dudes in bike hobby are consoomers who want new shiny shit to flex. They get mad when you tell them wheel was invented already.

Change them when they are wasted. A minute per side.
No spinning the bike, no oils and sh?t, no bubbles to worry about. Nothing.
Just plain simple invention that WORKS.
