thoughbeit dedicated ebikes with E Bike Framez are usually dogshit. I ride a shitty BSO with a conversion kit. and the conversion kit is just "lace the rear wheel to a motor and attach it to a controller", it's really not hard to do a "conversion" these days thanks to hub motors.

while i am unaware of a motorcycle equivalent to Formula E, there are "racing" styled e-bikes that are slow as fuck but are still essentially "We took a normal-ass entry level racing bike but instead of a real engine, it's an equivalent weight of batteries, have fun and try not to die." they're sick as fuck despite their objectively poor performance and where racing ceases to be interesting is where there is more power available than the operator can handle anyway
