you numtots are funny. crimea was a major seaside resort destination for russians (and even foreigners) before the wars, hardly "middle of nowhere". it would be more like having a train to the beach along the NJ shore. for reference, that nearby city is 100k population. seaside heights NJ (the one from the TV show) has a population of 2000.

I don't say Crimea is "the middle of nowhere". This post is only about this tram line in a random village. Crimea has lots of great resorts and beautiful cities.
Evpatoria is a great city with its own tram system and even railway which takes citizens to the beach too. So the question is not about the beach, but why is it placed right there?
