You can apply to be something called a day student as a vet and be subject to less of the regimental bullshit and leave campus whenever you want to. The reg tried to pull some bullshit recently where they changed the qualifying criteria from 4 years active duty to 5 years which would have essentially disqualified every vet student, but they backed off on it. The week of indoc as a "boot camp" is a complete fucking joke, you'll have a harder time trying not to laugh in the face of the retarded 20 year old on a power trip screaming at you.
