Back from a ~60 km ride out of the city.
The distance isn't all that impressive and I already had a few rides this long, but it was the first time I got out of the city and onto local roads. Some were pretty shitty, some very nice and yet I was able to keep solid speeds higher than the ones in the city (next to no stops).
The downs would be I nearly got lost, so had to slow down here and there to get ahold of where I was and I only took one food and one drink which was way too little. It was supposed to be a short ride, though, so whatever.
Next time, I'm going to look at the map beforehand.
>>955327>mfw I don't even ride every dayI mean, I do commute every day of the week, but that shit doesn't count in my books.
I try to get a ride every weekend and since getting a new bike (a road one too!) I'm bumping the amount of ""leisure"" rides and distance covered.
I love riding bike.
>>955365At least it wasn't raining, right?
>>958311>>958312There's a junction near my house that was recently rebuilt and doesn't trigger the lights for now. Have to take the crossing which, interestingly, has a detector that automatically activates the "I wanna cross" button for cyclists.
