>>997162350 watts helps but when you live in the north west quarter of calgary you are dealing with elevation changes of 1074 meters to 1254 meters between where i start and where i need to go frequently it helps, until it doesn't, the climb north out of bow park along north hill drive even on the lowest gear, chews up the battery because i have a direct drive hub motor which does not get any mechanical advantage, just has to drive the motor harder to get up these hills, and my bike is only a 7 speed.
been thinking of just getting a second battery pack or like i said previously, build a "last 10k "supercapacitor pack that i can trickle charge on the cargo rack.
next bike i build is defiantly going to be ludicrous, maybe a 2kw direct drive, a 70ah pack might even make it from a fat Tyre folding cargo bike, might have to build it from scratch.
