>>980034Bike is hot. Geo looks great. Slightly higher BB than I'd expect; also high fork rake and short chainstays. I'd say the thing is a rigid MTB in disguise, except for the saddle-to-bar drop - and that's fixable.
Really want to try the tires, curious how they stack up against other 35-45mm off-road tires. Early reviews seem very impressed with them, sounds like they're doing a tanwall version too.
The fork is the carbon fork we've all be clamoring for: high rake, mounts for fenders, bottle cages, and maybe even a lowrider pannier rack. Shame they won't sell it separately, I have a buddy who wants this exact fork on his Ti touring bike.
Handlebars look comfy - love low drop/mild flair bars. Curious how it compares to a Salsa Cowchipper or Cowbell. Kek *riser* dropbars, with a drop stem (looks racy olololol!).
$1200 for a mass-manufactured steel frameset is straight up crazytown, though.
>>980035The fuck are you comparing this bike to a Marrakesh for? That's a long-chainstay dedicated touring bike that'll be most at home on pavement, while this is a trail ripper that you can pack some bags on if you want. Completely different bikes.
