>>1019876Nah. I camp in winter and never had a well-heated house in my life, I know my shit, I don't need some pansy ass heater. I just visited goodwill and bought a ton of warm clothes (REI and LL bean brands included). My landlord gave the go ahead to move out and I'm buying my van sometime in the next two weeks, moving in as soon as we get a takeover subleaser.
current list to buy on amazon: tint stickers for windows, mosquito net, reflectix, spare laptop battery. to buy local cgsl/walmart: sun shader for windshield, rugs, cardboard, storage plastic containers depending on what fits after my bed is in, curtains/blankets/sheets, low level click lights.
already have power banks for my phone. Already have assorted cold weather camping gear and super warm sleep gear and clothes. Anything to add to the list?
I want to put up curtains, and also need some clothing to hang. I was hoping to hang the clothes on some sort of rod separating the front and back of the minivan, with a curtain in front so no one can see. Maybe they can add some insulation. I figure an adjustable shower curtain rod, either velcro or superglue or maybe duct tape to keep it up. What do you think? I don't want to insulate the front of the van too much so it doesn't stand out, so I am hoping a curtain system will keep in much of the heat, I think I can rig a setup.
In scouting my city I've found places I could stealthpark and I think I'm good. I have about 4 areas, each providing a dozen spots separated by at least a block. I'm really excited actually. I can fit my bike in the minivan with me, too.
