Please explain to me how you justify spending over $2k on a bicycle, rather than buying a car off Craigslist or something for much, much less than that.
i always come across people who buy these ridiculously overpriced bicycles and they defend them to their grave whilst at the same time completely denouncing the existence of the motor vehicle, i could understand if you live in a major city like New York or London for example and you *wasn't* car savvy in any way and have no mechanical experience.
But other than that i just don't get it, hell if you want a bicycle that bad, there's a ton of BMX and older road bikes for sale around Craigslist for $100... it's not like you'd *need* to go out and drop $2k on a brand new race bike.
