29er just feels clunkier and slower in comparison to 26 I recently got a 29er and after riding some familiar trails everything became much harder (unresponsive) and slower for me. I'm a tall rider (6'1) and fell for the meme because the frame just felt perfect but now looking back I rather ride a smaller 26 again.

If you enjoy your 26 and thinking about getting a 29er don't fall for the meme and try it out first like try it out well not just a few loops around LBS because you are going to regret it when you finally buy it and realize that apart from a bit smoother riding you lose all the agility and benefits of a 26er.
