The performance numbers seem interesting. Two 300hp Lycoming IO & LIO 540, 1000nm range at 120 knots and 22gph.. 600lbs full fuel useful load...
I only have my land rating, so I don't know much about flying boats, but that sounds about right... sounds like the perfect pleasure/adventure plane. The service ceiling is FL180 and single engine ceiling is 2,500 MSL (yikes), but it is a boat I guess, more options for landing off airport.
