They're pretty high rolling resistance even at high pressures, and ride like shit at lower pressures. Orangebike has Compass Bon Jon Pass tires (700x35C) set up tubeless in the first picture, and they're frankly amazing. Super fast and smooth, even at low pressures. Decent on smooth dirt and amazingly confidence inspiring on fast and curvy paved descents.
2nd orangebike picture has some 700x34C WTB Exposure tires, which don't ride quite as nicely as the Compass tires, but are far better on dirt and gravel.
I have vague plans to swap the tubeless wheelset with the Bon Jon Pass tires over to the Vaya, build up a 650B wheelset for the orange bike, and put some Compass Switchback Hill tires on it.
Both bikes have Salsa Cowchipper handlebars (Vaya has a 44cm bar, orangebike is a little narrower with a 42cm), and yes, they're comfy as fuck.
