Up in the north, you know how they deal with illegal immigrants? They cut you off from all services. ALL of them. No medical assistance. No way to get a paycheck, certainly not one that can sustain your existence. If you try, at best you'll be picked up for tax fraud and at worst whatever criminal enterprise you managed to find yourself in to make a living. You don't even get transport back - you have to self-deport. Wouldn't you know it, the illegal migrant situation is way lower per capita there. But I guess it doesn't really brutalize brown people and kill innocent men, so how good can it REALLY be?
