The illusion comes from the fact that if one person gets into a confrontation (the confrontation does not come to them) in their efforts to impede law enforcement, and it ends in an injury or death, it becomes highly publicized. It is not representative of the overall job being done. There are not death tolls in every city, as is being imagined. The hysteria only causes chaos for no reason.

Whatever you want to give as alternatives, when you have 10,000,000+ illegal aliens in your country, and they're able to cement themselves by weaponizing policies like birthright citizenship (which Trump has also long proposed), time is of the matter.
