Biden's handlers thought catering to the base would be a way to win an election. I'm not sure why the fuck they thought that since:
>They won in 2018 by appealing to the mainstream vis-a-vis anti-obamacare republicans>They won in 2012 by Obama still larping as a moderateThe only place you can win by just doubling down on the base is in multi-party parliamentary democracies where everyone is too divided to compete (hence why Netanyahu just won).
I'll be curious to hear the tell-alls about time in the Biden Admin but it seems like a bunch of young prog court mandarins having all the power and only caring about the Twitterati. Maybe it's the long death of the permanent-diversity-coalition fantasies since they had the hubris of "We'll always get elected, Trump'll always be a boogeyman, the browns and blacks will always vote for us".
There'll be a lot of kvetching about why they lost but the simple truth will be:
>It was the economy stupid>It was crime, stupidThen to an extent immigration and other shit. But above all it was the fucking economy. And before a blue chekist goes
>Hurdur the president doesn't control the economyFor some reason Trump is to be blamed for a bad economy
>>1110305 yet at the same time Biden is not to be blamed because he can't control the economy.
Sick of the gas lighting shit.
