>You see the mob takes the Fifth, If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?” - Donald Trump before pleading the Fifth 400 times. https://www.rawstory.com/january-6-committee-report/ Although President Donald Trump has accused the House Select Committee of turning a blind eye to the purported mass fraud he believes cost him the 2020 presidential election, it turns out that the committee did ask his allies to back up their election fraud claims under oath.
The executive summary of the committee's final report states that it asked multiple election conspiracists -- including John Eastman, Michael Flynn, Jenna Ellis, and Phil Waldron -- for evidence of election fraud and that "all invoked their Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination" in response.
In addition to this, former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani acknowledged to the committee that he did not buy claims that Dominion Voting Systems' machines had stolen the election from Trump, and his ally Bernard Kerik acknowledged that "it was impossible... to determine conclusively whether there was widespread fraud or whether that widespread fraud would have altered the outcome of the election."
In sum, writes the committee in the executive summary, "Not a single witness--nor any combination of witnesses--provided the Select Committee with evidence demonstrating that fraud occurred on a scale even remotely close to changing the outcome in any State."
Despite all this, Trump has continued to falsely insist that the election was stolen from him.

This is a damned if you do damned if you don't situation. If trump had one BLM would be the terrorists but since democrats won it's the Jan 6 people. despite them doing exactly the same thing and both parties being encouraged to do so from politicians. The American people are being gaslighted for their taxes ever four years by two groups that treat us like cattle vs people. Neither democrats or republicans have our best interest at heart just their own greed. People who follow a political party like a football team are worthless brainwashed drones. If you have ever had a pro trump or pro biden argument you are literally retarded poor people fighting for the rich's honor. Neither one of them have done a single thing to help advance America. The backing from politicians for blm was equivalent or greater than the cunts at Jan 6. Either way it was taking control of the stupidest/loudest people in the nation to try to force your political party to a point where they can demonize/ criminalize the other. So, for anybody that isn't a brain-dead conservative I'll summarize the article for you. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies send legal and information requests to social media companies, telephone companies, GPS companies etc., every day during the course of investigations. It's my understanding that most larger companies have an entire legal department which handles law enforcement requests for information. Sometimes the request is cell phone records, internal communications data, location records, message history etc., It's the job of these departments to investigate the requests, process them, and coordinate with law enforcement agencies. The internal e-mail in question in this article essentially says that, historically, Twitter used to just assign employees at their company to process and investigate these requests free of charge but are now deciding to charge the FBI for the man hours that they are dedicating to processing their requests. Given that several Russian nationals were tried and convicted for money laundering, wire fraud, identity theft and hacking in connection to the 2020 election it's not surprising that the FBI sends requests to Twitter to investigate suspicious accounts. Nowhere in this article is any evidence that the FBI paid Twitter to boost Democratic candidates or to censor anybody. That's not even what the subject of this article is about, it's just the misleading title that both OP and the author of this dogshit article put up to bait conservatives. You're welcome.

>>1126075 >But that's the way it works. It is absolutely not the way it works. Not only is that not the way it works but you also should've learned this kind of basic logic building in the 7th grade.
>And sometimes, even if you prove them wrong they keep saying it anyway. That's irrelevant. If you make a claim the burden of proof is on you to prove it correct, not for other people to prove you incorrect. Additionally, it is not logically possible to provide evidence of a negative. The thing you're asking for breaks the conventions of the basic building blocks of critical thought.

The most """"incriminating"""" thing you could find was an email about a deal that never went through where a Chinese real estate guy offered "the big guy" (obviously Joe) a cut. Except Hunter never accepted, the deal went nowhere, and if you've ever done business in China, you know that they offer you bribes all the time. I'd expect to find dozens of similar emails on the laptop of anyone greasing palms in Chinese speculation and investment, they want to get dirt and leverage on Westerners, plus bribery is just a way of life internally. Often they get confused and I think mildly offended when you decline, idk. Culture clash I guess.
No conservative has ever actually explained this to me: how is it a crime or scandal to decline an offered bribe? Because that is essentially the Republican argument, here, no? That they found an email on Hunter's laptop offering Joe a bribe through Hunter, that Hunter declined and Joe never even learned about. Fundamentally, I do not see what is wrong with this. Make your case for it, or shut up about it.
