It's near impossible to reach "insider" status while even owning millions of stocks in a company as companies like Pfizer have literally BILLIONS of stocks at this point, you can have over half-a-billion dollars worth of Pfizer stock and it only has to be reported to the IRS, not publicly disclosed (except certain instances of a state or federal government agency requesting a shareholder listing, this probably will be kept secret too). Politicians are supposed to report stocks too but more often than not they are obfuscated with being invested in an "investment firm" or just "accidentally" report the stock exchange a year late with outcry depending on what side of the political aisle they are.

Whenever I see a snarky shitpost or comment here I assume it's one of those types, the worst part is that even in the worst case scenario they have a fall guy like Fauci to point to if things turn out not to be true ("I trusted the science! The fact is that there is/was a reasonably dangerous virus, and there was a vaccine within a little over a year. And also lots of governments used it as an opportunity to seize some extra power over the press and their people, especially China and Russia, to some extent some central European nations, Austria in particular.
Half of the impact of this pandemic on society was a result of speculation, hysteria and ignorance, and a need to feel like your period of history had some big event you could say you were part of.
