Arnold Schwarzenegger has warned that Democrats “want to f— up every city in America,” issuing a stark warning about his adopted country’s future.
Schwarzenegger made his observation during a recent chat with Rob Lowe on an episode of SiriusXM’s Literally! With Rob Lowe show when the St. Elmo’s Fire star probed the 76-year-old Hollywood legend and former governor of California about the differences between Republicans and Democrats.
In a segment shared by Mediaite , Lowe noted that former California Republican Representative David Drier defined his party’s platform of standing for “in no particular order, strong military, low taxes, less government, more personal freedoms.”
As he paused to remember another pillar of Republican governing strategies, Schwarzenegger interrupted: “Strong law enforcement.”
When Lowe asked Schwarzenegger what it meant to be a Democrat, The Terminator star swiftly replied, “Ruin your cities.”
“That’s what the Democrats would say. We are about ruining the cities. We want to f— up every city in America. That seems to be the theme right now.”
As he followed up to question why Schwarzenegger thought that, the action man replied, “I have no idea.”
Schwarzenegger served as the 38th governor of California, ousting Gray Davis from the position in 2003. He went on to serve two terms before leaving office in 2011.
