According to him, sometimes high positions are occupied by those who want to show off in the international arena, but then they disappear imperceptibly.

"A true world leader [is distinguished] from people we call temporary leaders who come 'for five minutes' to show off on the international stage and then just as imperceptibly disappear," Putin said.

The head of state emphasized that President Xi Jinping is a thorough, calm, businesslike and reliable partner. Putin noted that if they agree on something, "one can be sure that the agreements will be fulfilled on both sides."
