Actually the official Israeli position is that it was a spinter group related to Hamas but not Hamas. What no one is saying is you can see in the video the Iron Dome defense missile hits the rocket and then it falls on the hospital.

You're right, I'm not really sure why Israel thinks bombing Gaza into oblivion will turn out any differently than before. Maybe they should try a different approach that actually addresses the underlying causes of the conflict like unequal rights between Palestinians and Israelis and the state of apartheid existing between the two groups.

Do you have an image of said destroyed hospital?
All I've seen was some burned out cars in a parking lot with some shrapnel/fire damage to adjacent buildings.
Not to mention some nearby cars and buildings even have their windows mostly intact
