Virginia is definitely in play more than the past two cycles, don't know if Trump is actually going to win it since NOVA tends to fuck us but it's way more competitive thanks to all the recent headwinds. Only bad thing is that the worst candidate for senate won the primary and will probably get steamrolled by Kaine. I'm more afraid of next year because that glowie bitch Spanberger is gonna do her damnedest to try and take back the governor's mansion after we finally started turning around the mess governor blackface left us in.

Youngkin is fairly popular and has done a lot to help like cleaning up the voter rolls and having a pretty extensive voter integrity operation so we don't get huge 3 AM dumps from Fairfax like we used to. I honestly thought he was gonna be the VP pick since he brings more to the table than Vance but I guess the assassination attempt made him lean more towards the populist option.

Virginia has some of the worst political consultants imaginable and the RNC had a fucking awful chair at the time that barely devoted any resources to Virginia that cycle or 2023 which is why we lost the state legislature by such slim margins. It was entirely winnable but general incompetence cost it.
