No.1344094 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
A new poll of 1,000 registered voters, conducted by Scott Rasmussen's Napolitan News Institute following the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a Florida golf course on Sunday, revealed that 17% of voters believe it would have been better for the country if Trump had been killed in the attack.

Notably, 28% of Democrats agreed with that sentiment, according to the survey.

The poll also explored public opinion on what might have motivated the assassination attempt, with 45% of respondents attributing it to anti-Trump rhetoric and 41% pointing to media coverage.

When asked about the alleged shooter's motives, 46% of voters believed the individual was a "crazed" person, while 33% thought they were part of an organized effort.
