Since Donald Trump won the election, various U.S. athletes have been adopting the "Trump Dance" to celebrate major plays in their relevant sports.

Trump has been dancing at rallies and other various events for years, which consists of shaking his hips from side to side with his arms in a similar rhythm. In February, Trump's deputy director of communications shared a video of him dancing with cheerleaders and a high school marching band as part of the Super Bowl LVIII celebrations.

In October, the Republican decided to stop taking questions from the audience at a Trump town hall event in Oaks, Pennsylvania, and instead played music for 39 minutes. According to The Washington Post, "some in the crowd began to leave" after Trump said he wouldn't be taking any more questions at the town hall and instead told his team to play a succession of nine songs as he at times danced on stage.

Now several sports stars busted out the move to celebrate big plays and here, Newsweek has rounded them up.

Christian Pulisic
Soccer player Christian Pulisic, who is a star of the United States men's national team, is the latest professional athlete to celebrate on the field by performing the Donald Trump dance. On Monday night, he and some of his teammates moved their arms and hips like the president-elect after Pulisic scored the opening goal in the United States' 4-2 victory over Jamaica.

"Well obviously that's the Trump dance," Pulisic said when asked about the viral moves, per The Athletic. "It was just a dance that everyone's doing. He's the one who created it. I just thought it was funny."

He added: "I saw everyone doing it yesterday in the NFL, I saw Jon Jones do it. We're just having a bit of fun, so I thought it was a pretty fun dance."
