Yeah, totally not a metaphor.
https://nypost.com/2025/01/01/us-news/wild-video-shows-tesla-cybertruck-on-fire-outside-trump-hotel/ Wild video shows a Tesla Cybertruck in flames Wednesday outside a Trump Tower — ironically as Tesla owner Elon Musk saw in the New Year with the hotel’s namesake, President-elect Donald Trump.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed it was “investigating a vehicle fire at the entrance to Trump Towers,” without elaborating on how it started or if it was suspicious.
A video taken by a hotel shows the Tesla electric pickup truck parked just outside engulfed in flames and emitting giant plumes of smoke seen across the Strip.
“The battery blew I think,” someone can be heard saying as bangs and whistles could be heard on the video quickly seen more than 1.5 million times on Musk’s own social media site, X.
tRump's conundrum conundumbdumb
tRump will give Musk taxpayer $ to fix this battery bug. What a choice, stay with the vehicle, and get burned, or leave and get eaten alive by LAND SHARKS!

Never take a battery into an elevator for this very reason. Imagine if this was in someone’s garage and that ugly so called truck blew up.

>“We saw that smoke start showing from the vehicle and then a large explosion from the truck occurs.” This isn't how bombs usually work, for the record. The driver is dead and his family is about to win a huge settlement.

>>1371966 I mean, if it was a suicide bombing why the fuck would you just wait on the side of the building instead of say, driving straight in. If the guy wasn't inside, I'd be more convinced it was an actual terror attack. But the fact he was still inside and yet chose to politely detonate on the side of the street convinces me otherwise. Nevermind the fireworks don't really work for terror reasons.
I don't blame the FBI for saying they're looking to see if it is one though, they kinda have to every time a decent explosion happens. Musk is absolutely trying to avoid people realizing these things are ticking time bombs though by saying it has to have been intentional.

The driver, who is now deceased, was identified, but officials are not yet prepared to release his identity. The FBI is also involved in the investigation. Las Vegas police expressed their gratitude to Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, for swiftly providing necessary information about the explosion. NBC has reported that the same rental service, Turo, was used in both the Las Vegas incident and a separate deadly truck attack in New Orleans. Anonymous

This was no act of terrorism. Livelsberger decided to go out 'Merica style! This was an elaborate homage to Trump and Elon as he killed himself. This dude could have plowed the Cybertruck through Trump Hotel killing a lot of people while destroying symbols of both demonstrating his hatred. However, he didn't. Why? To him this was going full 'Merica as he offed himself honoring Trump and Elon. Dude rolls up in a Cybertruck loaded with fireworks, gas and let's it all blow into the 4th of July as he killed himself and no one else. Can't get more 'Merica than that! Dude went full 'Merica in a literal Blaze of Glory! This was Livelsberger's version of going out like SkyKing did in Seattle! Livelsberger = CyberKing. End of Story
