Just watched an interesting video that really made me think. It talks about media bias, political narratives, and how censorship is shaping public perception more than ever before.
The guy in the video points out some things I’ve been noticing too:
The mainstream media pushes only one side of a story.
Questioning the narrative gets you labeled “extreme” or “dangerous.”
Big Tech and social platforms shadowban, demonetize, and suppress anything that doesn’t fit the "approved message."
The same financial entities control news outlets, governments, and even fact-checkers.
It also gets into how free speech is slowly disappearing, even in democracies. You see it in Germany, the EU, the US, and even the UK now. New laws are being introduced that punish people for memes, regulate "hate speech" with vague definitions, and let AI monitor what people say online.
At this point, is there any real freedom of speech left? Or are we just allowed to say what aligns with certain agendas?
Would be interested in hearing other opinions on this. Here’s the video if anyone wants to check it out: https://youtu.be/n8Czt7wV2bE
What do you think? Are we seeing a slow, controlled shutdown of real discussion? Or is this just the new normal?
