50 U.S. Code § 21 says otherwise, and the trump eo only designated TdA as an alien enemy, which if the CIA agents being reported on in the other thread in this topic are correct, that's what they are because they are being funded and trained by the Venezuelan government for the purpose of destabilizing America

Really, because we have so many issues with prison escapes.

There's no positive way to read throwing dudes into a foreign prison, especially in a state with known human right violations, and using our tax dollars to do so. The only reason you'd want to do that is to sidestep oversight and laws/rights, and wash your hands of anything "unfortunate" that were to happen to them. That's actual dictator shit. It was why people were so pissed at Bush/Obama for Gitmo and extraordinary rendition.

This is a very funny way to say "deported without actually proving the claim".

See, the funny thing is the previous occasions where this act were used, it was for nations. Japanese people as a whole were imprisoned in the camps, because you don't need to prove someone is Japanese. It was fucked up but it WAS how the law was designed. Trump can't even use a fucking objectively horrible law correctly because it doesn't apply to gangs, and he hasn't enacted it to all of Venezuela either (probably because it would require declaring war on Venezuela which not even he is dumb enough to do out of the blue)
