There's an important question that naturally arises when talking about a government crypto reserve. Who has the keys? When that person dies, all the crypto is gone, never to return. If the keys are shared among many people in government, now you increase the risk that someone with the keys will steal it and wash it through Monero or whatever, and even if they don't, you can't just order the blockchain to reverse the transaction, so it's still gone. This whole thing is a fucking stupid idea on its face.
