And? Distribution was controlled for, read the methods section.
Your objection doesn't even make sense because if they didn't have a large enough sample of republican's then the variation of attitudes should be even smaller, but it's not, and Democrats with a larger sample had extremely narrow viewpoints. It literally just supports the anecdotal observation that American progressives have very narrow, uniform opinions of issues, eg the "current thing" meme
