In 31 states it is still legal to discriminate against someone for being lgbt. We lose our homes, scholarships, jobs etc simply for who we are.
In those states punishments are often lesser or completely overlooked when a violent hate crime happens toward someone who is lgbt b
We aren’t asking for extra rights we are asking for equal rights.
