No individual or militia could possibly hope to stand against our military or national guard, no matter how overconfident they may be. Best case scenario, they get taken out by a drone strike. Worst case, nuke. There's no reason for people to "defend" themselves against their own government, and no plausible or practical way to do so given the hypothetical need. The capability to murder your neighbors is not a right.

I don't really care about any of this, incidentally. Guns are cool. 2A loonies are kinda embarrassing, tho. Be responsible and encourage moderate ownership and use so your local governments don't flag you for surveillance.
