>>2809750If that map endeavors to really include ephemeral (not just intermittent) waterfalls, it is WAY undercounting every single state. Every western inland state would be over 1,000-2,000 falls. The superstition mountains of AZ have over 100 waterfalls by definition (min 2-3m vertical drop) by itself whenever it rains or snows. The grand canyon probably has over 1,000 ephemeral falls by itself. When counting only perennial streams, AZ have over 400 of them, each has at least a couple good waterfalls on them. I'd also guestimate states like TN have at least 2,000 falls as well.
