>>2800739I have since moved back to New England and now I can go out in the woods and do anything I want every single day after work even if I only have 90 minutes of daylight left. Colorado was the shittiest place I've ever lived and now it seems like it was just a nightmare. Trapped in my car, looking for something that doesn't exist, wide open spaces with everyone on the interstate staring at me, private land signs as far as the eye can see, impassable walls of rock turning the world into something like a linear videogame. It really seems like it couldn't have even been real. I've lived in a lot of different places and am accustomed to disappointment and unpleasant surprises, but Colorado was basically a portal to Hell. I'm still not back down to the weight I was before I moved there and got stuck driving all the time. I think it took time off my life.
