I have water but to be safe I'd fill up the bathtub and every container I have with water in case the it stops flowing through the tap and out of risk of contamination as the virus spreads.
The zombies from the initial outbreak will have came and passed through my neighborhood relatively quickly after finding no food and fencing that blocks them from entering any of the houses and yards in my neighborhood but make it really easy for them to LEAVE the neighborhood in search of food
Anyone in my neighborhood who isn't prepared would likely go run and get supplies and die because of blocked streets and crowds of people looting stores making it a prime place for a zombie outbreak to spread quick.
Not to be a stick in the mud but these situations are only possible in places like highly dense cities in large crowds where you can't get away like the subway and 10 minutes in we'd be getting reports all over social media of zombies since this isn't a world where we act dumb and just assume its just some weird crackhead and anyone with a weapon who sees it spreading will likely take a swing at it or run away, making sure nobody else gets infected by warning them.
Even if they could run it still wouldn't leave the city it started in
The national guard, the police, and the military would have killed them all in the timeframe of a zombie movie
Pretty much the only people who would die are the very sick, old, and weak who wouldn't be able to escape a zombie slowly walking to you
