First pic was ENE, down the ravine.
Second pic was ESE, facing Sainte-Marie-Du-Mont/Croix-de-l'Alpe.
Got many more pics of orchids (whole fields of rochidée sureau around mount pinet, orchidée militaire, etc) but pics are above 5Mb and too lazy to compress.
Lots of fauna too also if you get up early enough.
Anyways, check the chartreuse if you have the chance end of may/early june.
