>>2831277>another shill who'll soon be advertising overpriced crap brandsAnon, I've worn knit wool from my own sheep (not merino) and an aquaintances merino sheep, varustelekas merino (both chinese and estonian made) and chink stuff. There's literally no noticeable difference in the material, just in the structure (since the home-knit wool obviously had a wider pattern). Overpriced crap from big brands also feels the same in the store, but I'm not gonna spend twice as much just so my underwear has some meme brandname on it. So who knows? maybe they have some burger magic that makes it completely different when you actually wear it?
>inb4 the non-merino should be coarserOnly if you're to much of a penny pincher to separate coarse and fine fibers.
>>2831289What that anon is probably referring to is that sunscreen blocks only specific wavelengths, which have been proven to cause tanning, but not proven to be directly related to skin cancer. There's some animal studies that showed similar levels of cancer with and without sunscreen. But since most lab animal lines are prone to cancers in the first place, and human studies are pretty much impossible due to how long they'd take and how there's no good control group (most people who are in the sun regularly use sunscreen), I wouldn't trust those studies too much.
I don't use sunscreen either, though - I'd rather trust the naturally evolved melatonin than some chemical mix. Even if that means that I have to limit my time outside during march and april, until my tan is back.
