I am wanting to get into using a bivy and the part I like is the little to no setup. I was thinking of something lightweight with no poles. I saw the snugpack SF bivy and like how compact it is. Do any of you guys have any experience with it? Is it actually waterproof? I cannot find any videos or anything of anyone actually using it in the rain as a stand-alone option. Is there something else you guys would recommend that is better but still lightweight and compact? I already know about the MSS and am not I want to know if there is a lighter option.
