>>502411Yeah but fertilized chicken eggs stay viable for somewhere between 10-25 days before you have to incubate them. So while I agree that pullets are almost always the way to go, I was thinking more along the lines of not having a lot of live animals on the boat.
I don't think the incubator would be a problem, they don't draw that much power. But I could be mistaken... They do have a heating element, I'd have to take a calculator to it.
