Only things that put me off: Thin head isn't good for splitting (not that a hatchet is anyways), steel handle is heavier and doesn't absorb vibrations as well, if steel handle ever breaks in 25 years can't replace like wood.
A GB axe can be passed down through generations. The tools/items I've inherited from my family are small treasures to me. One day, someone will inherit my axe and I think that's pretty cool and hopefully they do too.
If you're not into that, the $45 Estwing is a great purchase, especially if you find it on sale. I'd probably get the one with the rubberized handle instead, their nylon-vinyl handles are actually amazing and hold up very well, and it's more comfortable than varnished leather.
Either way, I don't see spending $140 on an item that will last many decades as a big deal. You do you though.
