There's also one that's a different shape and usually blue, people cut a bunch of slits in them and then use a crow bar to pull the slits outward, effectively makes a little shelf. they fill them up with dirt and put a tube down the middle for fertilizer and put plants in each slit. It makes a really great very inexpensive planter.
