i honestly don't know much about mushrooms. my ex used to go foraging and i went along a couple of times, and she had like a rigid plastic "crate" with these horizontal inserts so you had multiple layers and they wouldn't compress each other. kind of like a big tacklebox
i don't really have anything like that, but i guess i could bring a couple tupperware containers and carry them in a backpack. that's my current plan. we had a big rain today so tomorrow will be nice and cool to go out.
