I guarantee it is every bit as rugged as the sabre, but it is actually made for hiking. Has an aluminum frame, adjustable suspension, waterproof, rain fly, molle webbing, and everything else you need. Also comes in your favorite colors, OD green and coyote. Notice a soldier is using it bc it is far superior to his gear. so trust an active duty soldier(US). Our gear is not cheap, not at all comfortable, not made for hiking, and usually not even that durable. Hope this helps everyone a bit
