>>778556I have had luck with lipless, just not specifically those Red-Eye Shads. Back north, the smaller Rat-L-Traps were a blast for Crappie and I have gotten a few decent largemouth on them.
I'm just saying those Red Eyes are so much better than Rat-L-Traps yet I always seem to fish them at the wrong time. Mayans and Bluegill love them but are too small to get hooked.
The Rapala rattlers on the right side of this pic work really well too.
