One of these if you can find a decent one. One of my biggest regrets is that my good US Army WWII mess kit was in the back of my ex's car when she parked in a shitty nog bog and her car got stolen. That car was never recovered, nor was any of the gear I had left in it after a trip /out/. Now I use this cheap tin Coleman mess kit, but it works pretty well. Hopefully I'll find a good sturdy one in a milsurp trip. I only go /out/ about 6 times a year to a backwoods section of a local state park where during peak season, I'm surprised if I see another human being over a whole week, so I don't need anything super crazy, but man... That WWII kit was a literal lifesaver when I was homeless in my early 20s
