No camping outside designated spots, no bonfire, no leaving the trail for anything. Fines are really heavy with jail time too. The countryside is pretty much all claimed with private properties
Wild camping in proximity to people is at best retarded since it will all but guarantee you getting jumped while you sleep
Honestly the best thing you can do is try to get in touch with some large property owner and ask for permission to screw around in their land. If you are polite, reassuring you're there just for the camping and explain yourself there's a good chance they will allow it. Its the safest option available for camping
Failing that you can always take advantage of the general lawlessness and just invade shit while no one's looking. If it's far and lone enough no one will notice. Won't be a very relaxing experience though
