just used a z-lite cut down to 6 panels so it covers from my shoulders to my hip.
I normally use a 1/8" ccf mat cut torso size, but took the z-lite to jordan as I knew the ground would be rockier, so the extra padding was welcome.
The GPS track came with pins the marked out possible water sources, and I had notes that listed possible water sources. However, they aren't super realible in that part of the world. Only a couple of springs/rivers flow year round. I didn't make a water plan that relied on any of the sources that aren't known to run year round.
