I have a Ruger PC9 that's a takedown. It doesn't fold or nest though, so it's two separate pieces( barrel and body) when taken down. That said, I don't take it anywhere but the range. It's a home defense weapon, not an out weapon. I got mine because it doesn't have a pistol grip and therefore doesn't fall under comiefornias assault weapons restrictions.
